A spokesman for the president said he invoked the tough laws to "ensure public order" after shops closed and public transport was halted Friday by unions blaming him for the unprecedented economic crisis, which has ignited weeks of unrest. Amid cases of sexual violence by Russian soldiers in Ukraine, reports now show men and boys among the alleged rape victims. Several such cases are already being investigated, the UN and Ukraine officials have said. “I have received reports, not yet verified about sexual violence cases against men and boys in Ukraine,” said Pramila Patten, UN special representative on sexual violence in Patten added that it can be even harder for male rape survivors to report the crime. “It’s hard for women and girls to report [rape] because of stigma amongst other reasons, but it’s often even harder for men and boys to report we have to create that safe space for all victims to report cases of sexual violence,” she said.   A woman in Germany was sentenced to prison for poking holes in her partner's condom without his knowledge. A German woman was sentenced to six months in prison after she was convicted of sexual assault for secretly poking holes in her partner’s condoms. The Daily Mail reported that the woman sabotaged her partner’s condoms without his knowledge so she could become pregnant. Judge Astrid Salewski who handed out the ruling in the regional court of Bielefeld said legal history was written after the woman was charged with ‘stealthing’. ‘Stealthing’ normally involves men removing or sabotaging their condom during intercourse without the woman’s knowledge. WHAT IS THE CASE? The case involved a 39-year-old woman who was reportedly in a casual relationship with a 42-year-old man. The two met in 2021 and would meet up regularly.
